Welcome to our home. We have lived in this peaceful little town for 10 years and are selling for one reason only we want to move into the country where we can have some land and start an animal rescue shelter. Wheaton, Mo., is straight out of TV Land. Everyone is friendly. The children walk to school and you know they are safe and everybody watches out for their neighbors. No pollution, no gangs. Many people work in the nearby towns of Monett and Cassville; some commute to Springfield and Joplin and even to northwest Arkansas to work for Wal-Mart General Offices. We are a short distance to Branson with all it has to offer and also close to beautiful Roaring River State Park for the best trout fishing ever! We have a water park in Cassville. Our home is located on 2 lovely corner lots, with our neighbor being the Methodist Church. We are in walking distance to church, school, bank and grocery store. Many businesses would thrive here. We ran a successful small weekly newspaper for 7 years right from our home! We have done extensive remodeling on this over 100 year old home. It is completely livable as is, but please note it is not perfect cosmetically. You will probably want to do some painting inside as someone painted the bathroom pink and the walls by the stairs purple (I think they were Teletubbies!) ...
